The article that I posted from The Washington Post consisted of Lomborg giving numerous real world examples of why the environmental doomsayers were wrong.

The article that you posted consisted of various personal attacks on Lomborg, and did not give any specific examples of Lomborg being wrong.

Part of your article in your link, that you left out of your post, claims that Lomborg was wrong about the air and water getting cleaner, and that Lomborg was wrong in his claim that food production was growing faster than population. Your article is wrong. Lomborg is correct. The EPA's own data show that the air and water have gotten substantially cleaner. And the data from the U.N. shows that worldwide food production, per capita, is at an all time high. The percentage of people in the world who are malnourished is at an all time low. Global life expectancy is at an all time high. And in the areas were there are severe famines, the famine is not caused by overpopulation. Instead, the famines are caused by war, and by bad government economic policy. Most of the countries with severe famine actually have relatively low population density. Food is actually more available in areas with higher population density, like places such as Hong Kong, Singapore, the Netherlands, London, and New York City. Zaire has a very, very low population density, and the people there are starving. Famines are caused by wars and bad economic policy, not by high population density.

As far as the links that other people gave, most of those articles don't address the specific things that Lomborg said. Like the article from Lester Brown. Brown just repeates what Paul Ehrlich said, and he doesn't address the things that Lomborg said.

My amazon.com review addresses the specific issues. But the people who disagree with Lomborg usually ignore most of his specific claims, and/or, they resort to personal attacks on Lomborg.

Lomborg started out as a doomsayer. His original intent was to prove that Julian Simon was wrong. But after Lomborg examined the real world data, he realized that Simon was in fact correct.

Actually, Julian Simon himself had started out as a doomsayer. But when he examined the real world data, he realized that the doomsayers were wrong.
