"Big business getting government subsidies it doesn't need is part of the reality of capitalism."

You are mistaken.

Capitalism is an economic system that is based on voluntary economic activiry between consenting individuals.

Corporate welfare is what happens when economic activity is controlled by the government.

You made the same comment two months ago that you did just now. I had started a thread to criticize the coprorate welfare bailout of the airline industry. You said that corporate welfare was a part of capitalism. I explained that you were mistaken. You never responded to me. (In fact, as far as I can remember, you have never, ever responded to any of my criticisms of your political posts.)

Here's your post from that thread, and my response to you. The fact that you ignored my comment to you then, and that you just made the same again comment now, suggests that aren't really interested in having a serious discussion about this topic.

Capitalism is an economic system that is based on private ownership of property, and consenting individuals entering into voluntary economic agreements.

In a capitalist society, the way that people voluntarily give their money to the airline industry is thorugh voluntarily buying airline tickets, and voluntariy purchasing airline stock.

Corporate welfare is not voluntary. The governemnt forces taxpayers, against their will, to fund corporate welfare. That's not capitalism.
