What Zorro is saying is that, in his opinion, corporate welfare is an INEVITABLE result of unfettered capitalist activity. That when money is the fuel for the gears of society, it becomes the carrot and stick of our government as well.
You may debate him on this point, but not just by saying that corporate welfare is antithetical to pure capitalism. It's like if I defended Soviet-style communism to you by pointing out that the abuses of that system were not part of Marx's original plan. Follow me?
