You're absolutely right; "...the world is full of American- like protectionism". Australia is just as guilty of that as the US. The point though is that we don't go around bragging about some phoney commitment to "Free Trade". And as for bringing "the war" into it, that's just dumb.
Our beef is excellent, by the way.
