You people have absolutely no taste. The movie "That Thing You Do" is a great movie! Hanks is a genius. My childs love it too. They watch is everyday. It's funny, the music is good and it is something that could very well happen to any band. You people who mock this movie are idiots with no taste. You need to get out more and experience some culture. I think you were breast fed for way too long!
