Everyone will slam this picture simply because it's not deep filmmaking at all, and that it has no artistic value whatsoever, but 'There's Something About Mary' wasn't supposed to have any of that anyway. It's just giving the public what they want, penis jokes, sex, perverse humor, and some violence. Hey, you might not agree with that, but Hollywood for the most part caters to the masses, and unfortunately, that doesn't consist of very intelligent people. It's worth a rental, but it honestly gets super stale after the first time you watch it.
