Gee, for openers, I see nothing funny about getting your scrotum caught in your zipper. I see nothing funny about opening the door with fucking CUM hanging off your ear. I guess that can be funny if you're in high school. I'm not. I shouldn't even have admitted that I found the sequence with the dog funny, but I have to be honest about it. But what's the point? You'll accuse me of being a philistine because I don't share your sense of humor. Like I give a damn. If *you* found the movie consistently funny, great! Good! I didn't, and so what? Why *should* I? Can't I have my own sesne of humor? BYE BYE BIRDIE is a funny movie. DR. STRANGELOVE is a funny movie. (With much more subtle sexual innuendo, by the weay.) THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY is to DR. STRANGELOVE like MAD magazine is to Mark Twain. Both can be funny, but Twain has more subtext. I prefer humor with more subtext. Even BYE BYE BIRDIE has more subtext that TSAM. Vive le differance, eh?
