you don't want me to get started on the lame, cop-out, focus group ending again. So I won't.
Fight Club. I get goosebumps when the Pogues song starts up.
Butch & Sundance has a good ending. I always explain John Woo's "The Killer" by saying "You know how Butch & Sundance ends? Give them automatic weapons, and let them win, and you've got The Killer."
Modern Times, which is a very uneven movie, but the ending was just a perfect sendoff for the tramp character. City Lights is a way better movie, though.
Cinema Paradiso. You knew it was coming, but everyone in the theater I saw it in suddenly had dust in their eyes (sniff).
