The Brooklyn Catholic Diocese is closing the local school here... it's a massive building, could really be worth some $$$, there are also rumors that the next church over will close down, that's got alot of land along a commercial strip... it would probably work for a car dealership (there's a Chevy one across the street, Pontiac down the block and Buick is also around here somewhere too.)
Apparently all those new immigrants around here have figured out that Public School is free! If the church had any brains they'd convert the school into low cost housing for poor people.. but they aren't that smart.
