That is true that Americans don't like to see the true nature of things, especially when it comes to bad things, out of their everyday pop culture. Don't take me wrong, I like America for other things, but I can't be lenient to this person’s ignorance and fake pride. That is why Americans make everything glitter by creating such movies like "Wizard of OZ" in times of depression. The movie 'Thief' is heartbreaking story about post-war years in Russia, not to mention the unforgettable and complex characters. The person who reviewed the film will perhaps never understand it, because historically, America never had experienced any hardships at all. Mr. Cranky you better not to reveal your true name or I'll find you and kick your f...ing cranky ass.
