First I would like to say that I think you are totally off your rocker thinking that It was better than The Shining, let alone a good film. The Shining was a good film. It wasn't even a good T.V. movie and 99.9% of the stuff T.V. produces is worse than the worst film ever made. I also think you are forgeting about Misery and the best Stephen King movie, The Shawshank Redemption. And on a final note I would like to say that if you think that the best quality movies of the year are Independence Day and Star Trek:First Contact, a movie that hasn't even been released yet, then I'm going to kill myself right now. The Arrival put Independence Day to shame and that's not saying much. I would rather hit myself in the head with a 2 by 4 repeatedly than watch "ID4" again. And when a Star Trek movie is the best movie of the year I'm going to set myself on fire outside of the theatre in which it is playing because life will no longer be worth living. Why don't you rent Fargo and watch a good movie instead of promoting big pieces of shit.
