09/03/00: The Thin Red Line was a beautiful show

I enjoyed The Thin Red LIne much more than Saving Private Ryan. This film showed the soldiers for the people they were, instead of things being blown up like in typical war movies. This movie was deep, and emotional unlike "Ryan" which was mostly eye candy. THis movie tried harder to focus on emotional points of the war rather then the cool explosions.
