I will offer one male's personal perspective on item number (3), regarding cars. I think that the vast majority of women don't care what kind of car a guy drives, as long as it meets minimum standards of decency in terms of cleanliness and reliability. I drive a 3000GT. I did not purchase this car to impress women (or anyone else), and it's a damn good thing because the only people who're ever impressed by it are a bunch of redneck hot-rodder-wannabe guys that I see around town when I go to visit my parents out in the sticks. I'm a fairly young-looking guy, so most women see the car and think that (1) I'm some kind of spoiled rich asshole whose parents bought him a nice car or (2) I'm an irresponsible idiot who spends way too large a % of his income on a car that's expensive to buy, maintain, and insure. And you know what, they're pretty much right (about #2)!
Combine that with the fact that I now go out to clubs in the city less often for fear of the car being stolen or involved in an accident, and I'd say that overall the car has had a detrimental effect on my social life!
So, Masked Loser, I would urge you to learn from my experience and work on your looks, job, penis(?!) and sense of humor before you worry about the car. :-)
Besides, any woman for whom the kind of car you drive is an important issue isn't the kind of woman you want anyways.
