Why *am* I bothering here? You just caught me at a time when I didn't feel like filtering my true feelings on this.
I think that the attitudes you express are among the most loathsome our society has to offer. Normally I wouldn't be so harsh and explicit, even in this email-equivalent, but the way you blithely insist that anyone honest would feel as you do...it just made my gorge rise past the point I could keep the words down.
In real life I'd probably just stare if I heard you saying this stuff, list a few counter-examples, and walk on, shaking my head in amazement. Choosing your friends because they look good, not because you like them? Jeez, even the best clubs let in a few intelligent or well-dressed freaks.
I really meant it about not reproducing. Because what if your child turns out to be ugly? Even the most beautiful people might mix their genes incorrectly. Then you'd think the worst of your child for the rest of its life. You'd be doing your best, but since, as you say, "[You] cannot change nor neglect the fact that [you] are critical with physical beauty," you wouldn't want to be around your child as much as would be healthy for it. You don't pass the good parent test. And if you adopt, a gorgeous child of course, then you'd infect it with your own attitudes. See above about those attitudes. There's enough bullshit in the world already. Get a dog instead. Or therapy.
You're right, you don't have to answer me, but don't expect me not to point it out when you falsely report what I say. And don't expect me not to laugh when you say who doesn't think the way you do is a liar (in your Everyone is shallow post above, for example)...and *then* you say that I'm the one who does that. Projection, baby.
I'm a dork for spending this much time here, clearly. Take the last word if you need it. I'm outta this thread.
May you inexplicably fall in love with someone who doesn't meet your physical standards, go though tremendous angst and personal growth, and get over this garbage you're espousing.
