1) what's your favorite movie theme song? For pure music, as music, the theme from Exodus by Ferrante and Teicher is just pure stirring stuff. For slow dancing, Someone to Watch Over Me from the movie by the same name.
2) what's your favorite television theme song? Who can turn the world on with a smile? Who take a nothing date and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile? Oh, ah, yeah, my favorite TV theme song is from the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
3) do you have a personal theme song? Not really. If I could get one, it would probably be like that song they sing at the end of The Story of Brian, Just Look on the Bright Side of Life I believe it is.
4) if you could have a band write a theme song for your favorite book, what band would you choose? what would the title be? Water Music by T.C. Boyle is my favorite book and I guess something written by John Williams would be appropriate.
5) when you think of any crankizens, do theme songs for them come to mind? (wow, that was really badly worded. an example: when i think of mendo, the song "the joker" comes to minds-- that's what i mean by this question)
