1) what's your favorite movie theme song?

Ennio Morricone’s calm bass in John Carpenter’s The Thing is probably the most simple and effective piece of movie music I’ve heard.

.

2) what’s your favorite television theme song?

I always liked the theme to Millennium. Also, there was this short-lived TV-show made out of The Untouchables and I remember liking the theme to that one too.

.

3) do you have a personal theme song?

The One Piece Puzzle by Skyclad.

.

4) if you could have a band write a theme song for your favorite book, what band would you choose? What would the title be?

Pink Floyd would do a dreamy and menacing instrumental called The Dark Tower, to Stephen King’s book series of the same name.

.

5) when you think of any crankizens, do theme songs for them come to mind? (wow, that was really badly worded. an example: when i think of mendo, the song "the joker" comes to minds-- that's what i mean by this question)

Alas, no...

.

I’m sorry if this is bad form, but your poll made me remember it, so I wish to add this question and reply on it myself:

What’s your least favorite movie theme song?

The Dirt Gang! Not only is the movie so bad it’s almost criminal, it’s also probably the worst of the lot when it comes to the celluloid insult that was the moronic MC- shlock of the late ’60:s. Anyway, the movie’s theme, sung by this nasal idiot, was about how cool and dangerous these MC-riding defective monkeys were. Since I was half-dead when I saw the movie (at 4 am) I couldn’t protect myself, so the song stuck in my head. Sometimes I find myself humming it when I’m driving. I hate it.
