Good evening, everyone.
I have a couple of articles that might possibly be of interest to some here.
I rather respect the philosopher John Searle's views regarding the subjects of "Free Will" and Human Consciousness. He writes rather well, and he actually has a pretty fair grasp of the relevant neurobiology. (I hope this doesn't sound too dismissive, but I have very little regard for pontifications on these subjects from people who have no grasp of the relevant science.)
Some of his essays, including "Free Will as a Problem in Neurobiology" and "Refutation of Relativism" can be found here: http://socrates.berkeley.edu/~jsearle/html/articles/ .
Cheers,
Michael
