...I cannot say that I have seen "Tin Cup."
Recently, when I did go to the multi-plex theater, I found the choices pretty limited...and at the cost of $6.50 per film, it was pretty darned depressing, too.
True, I could have seen "Tin Cup" at that time, or "Bogus" for that matter; but, instead I found myself being lured into watching "First Wives Club"...which, I wish I had avoided that day...
If you thought trying to get through a film with Plugger was bad, try watching a film with a family--complete with very young talkative child--sitting behind you.
Overall, the film was not that bad...not that great either, though...
It does seem to have a good grasp on how many in the American society (especially in the "media driven" areas of the U.S.) tend to treat and view women--especially, women who are not thin and young.
Also, I liked the way that the women got revenge on their ex-spouses...(but, let's not get into that...I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone who wandered onto this posting by mistake)...
Yes, there were quite a few things that I did not like about the film, but in order to talk about that I would have to talk about specific points in the film...and that (again) would be unfair to anyone who was not expecting a posting on the "First Wives Club."
So, with that...I would give the film a six out of 10.
I'm sorry to hear that your treatment has taken a turn for the worse...maybe Jacko will change his plans and spare you...
Aloha,
Palakika
