09/10/96: Re: Elvis has left the theater...

Ah-hah! Gotcha.

By your own admission, "Elvis can sing but not act."

Well, Oliver CAN act, and the actor who played Harry Rex COULD ACT. Therefore, the actor was Mr. Oliver Platt and not Mr. Elvis Presley.

Furthermore, regarding my credibility, I said that Elvis was a great musician (great singer really), and actor in his own right...and I stand by that. I did not say that he was a "great actor," just an "actor in his own right."

(If people can call Pamela Anderson an actress, then I can definitely call Elvis an actor.)

And, as for the King's feeling young after Jacko and Bubbles left Graceland, I believe the mere news that they (Jacko and his daughter, not Jacko and Bubbles...) were getting married would have ended the King's life. So, either way, he still would be dead.

Also, the fact that the llama is still alive further proves that Elvis is dead, otherwise it would have been on a serving dish somewhere...

Now, regarding your suggestion that I see the movie again, I have already seen the movie too many times... instead I think I'll just go home and throw "Funny Bones," "Infiltrator," or "the Usual Suspects" into my LD player tonight, after work...

...and since when was the King the only guy allowed to enjoy his food? I'm glad that there are other guys out there who are not so uptight at the dinner table.
