Here in Texas, we don't have none of them goddamned "intersexuals." Here in Texas, we KNOW who we are from the day we're born. None of that wishy-washy, "What gender am I?" shit for us. That's how things work in the best damn nation in the country.
Seriously, though, I have a feeling that the prevailing attitude among politicians concerning intersexuals is that they should be "fixed." As in, "figure out what you are already and deal with it."
I was always under the impression that most people born without a clear sex underwent surgery soon after birth, with the doctors using whatever they have to work with to make that child male or female. Obviously there are problems with this-- such as children whose sex is technically male but who identify their gender as female-- but I have a feeling that these little glitches don't hold much weight with Bush.
