What are you stupid? Of course she should destroy the orb you retard. You have two options, destroy the orb, possibly saving the world, and, just as importantly, yourself, or you can go on some ludicrous quest wasting your money and the money of others, putting yourself in horrible risk, just to find out what the puzzle means, also, incidentally, giving the bad guys a chance to grab the orb. Yes, it would make a short and boring movie, but that is better than the long, boring, and stupid movie we ended up with.
