In my friend's case, it's the guy who is A-negative (I think the girl has type-O). So I guess there are no worries.
Mal, the trip was great. I posted a few quick sentences about it in my reply to Coaster. Not much else to say. Iceland has a bizarre, yet spectacular natural beauty. Very few tourists there, and refreshingly there are very few cars, also. Lots of hot springs and even a waterpark with a heated waterslide...but wherever you are, the hot water smells like sulfur. Norway has a different kind of beauty - everything is lush green and very hilly. The fjords defy description, except to say that they are stunningly beautiful. So are Norwegian women, although I'd give the Icelandic women a miss.
