05/19/02: Anyway, 'American Graffiti' was entertaining

The interesting thing about this movie is that the characters played by Paul Le Mat (daredevill racer), Ron Howard (clean-cut anxious youth), Richard Dreyfus (thinker) and even Charles Martin Smith (nerd) all represent characteristics of the young George Lucas. It's America as George remembers it, as most Americans of his generation remember it, before Vietnam and Watergate changed everything.
