First off,welcome to Crankyland.
Second...you said that STRANGELAND looks as pleasant as a "razorblade enema"(cool image!) but that's not a bad thing. Disturbing,dark imagery is but one of the elements neccessary to truly succeed in crafting a horror story.
Third...well,no one DID ask for BRIDE OF CHUCKY,but nobody exactly asked for HALLOWEENs three through seven,or SPEED 2,or most of the sequels that those deranged weirdos in Hollywood think are neccessary.
