My point was that he could have left it at that and just moved on. Instead, he shifted gears to his usual hunting grounds; alleging that somewhere, someone in public education did something wrong. Golly, you mean to tell me that public education, like everything else, is made up of fallible human beings? I doubt if that nugget of wisdom would be disputed by anyone, even Albert Shanker.
I would have thought he might have provided a better, more grundlean answer as to why those Floridian schools didn't get their third "F":
