It requires more attention than I can afford to give it. If I get a call in the middle of a post, I can just minimize Communicator, take care of my customer, and in 5-90 minutes later finish writing my post. In chat I am likely to miss someone saying something to me.
Anyway, chat discussions usually bore me to tears. I do know about chat room, although not necessarily ICQ chat. I used to hang out at one particular chat room for a few weeks, but after getting to know the regulars they didn't really have anything interesting to say. Out of boredom I became quite trollish just to shake things up, and when that got boring I gave up on it. Tried a few other chat rooms, they are ALL the same (Age/Sex/Location? Terata, that's a pretty name, wanna cyberfuck? Hey, just because my handle ends in an 'A' doesn't mean I'm female!) and I hardly ever go to them anymore.
