Loved your review, Senni, but why the repeated use of the epithet "redneck"? I suppose all the blacks, asians and hispanics were off at the Kurasawa Film Festival while VAMPIRES was in theaters? Stupidity knows no race, and VAMPIRES certainly was stupid. Did you just want to add a little more venom to your piece by availing yourself of the last publicly tolerated racial slur...? You're a good reviewer and you took VAMPIRES apart very nicely... but this racism (yes, the word "redneck" is racist) is bullshit.
