you're so right about this being League 2 ("League of Extraordinary Gentleman Part Deux: Castlevania," -- that's great! you should suggest that to them-- they might use it. ... and now I've just spent 5 minutes trying to think of a sequel name involving "Electric Boogaloo," but I'm stumped), but at least Van Helsing was funny. for some reason I just couldn't find any joy in League of Extraordinary Pointlessness-- it wasn't bad enough to be funny (well, no-- it was that bad, it just wasn't bad in the right ways), and after really enjoying the comics it was just kind of sad to see what they'd done to the plot. I guess with Van Helsing it had so little in common with the books it referenced that I couldn't really be bothered by it.
and, um, Sammy Hagar? that's the most random (and hysterical) thing I've heard today! :-)
