Did anyone else notice that Brian, the "best friend", screwed everything up? HE is the one that told Cameron Diaz (character name I forget) that Tom Cruise (ditto) thought of her as nothing but a fuck bunny, when it was BRIAN who said that.
Did anyone else think of Jacob's Ladder while they were watching this? I guess some would think of Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, but I wouldn't, because I've never seen it. But anyway, the concept that, Hey, this guy's about to DIE, and this is what he's thinking in that final moment? Anyway, I was wrong, sorta, and I even thought I knew when he had started dying...the car crash. I thought he had been skewered, or something, and this was his life flashing before his eyes.
In short, I loved this movie, it all made perfect sense to me. That everybody else hates it is perfectly normal for me. Btw, somebody else mentioned Jerry Maguire (sp?) as Tom Cruise's best movie, and I just have to say, I thought it sucked massive ammounts of ASS. Christ, I hated that fucking movie, and the only thing worse than watching it, was listening to fools blather on about "You had me at hello." I have to go kill something now.
