Brooklyn, first off I would like to say that if you are over the age of 16 I feel extremely sorry for you and the pathetic life you obviously must live. I am sure you are one of those sheltered internet kiddies who has nothing better to do then aimlessly insult others online. You also bash this movie with virtually no merit what so ever. I would now like to apologize to everyone else for what you have just read i know it is hypocritcal and this is out of character for me. Now for what i really have to say.

I saw Vanilla Sky last night for the first time, and i must say i thought it was a great movie. Upon finishing it i was not quite sure how i felt about it but i have not been able to stop thinkin about it. Here i am the next day at work talkin about it on a web forum. That to me is one thing that makes a movie truly great; you can't just watch it and be done with it, it sticks around for a while in your head afterwords. I personally enjoyed the plot and thought the acting was good as well. Brooklyn you remark that there are no hints at all to the ending. I have yet to see it a second time so i have not been able to look but i feel as if i can think of a few things rite off the top of my head. First of all how many times did we hear about benny the dog, who was frozen and brought back to life or the interviews with that guy who freezes people. Secondly you didnt find it odd how Sophia just fell madly in love with him the next day when he was asleep on the sidewalk. Also did you notice how the setting wasn't cold like before but everything had a golden glow to it, similar to the way he saw things when he dreamed of her while in a coma. What about how other characters kept repeating the same stuff. Both Sophia and the doctor ask david "What is happiness to you" just like Julie did before the accident, that is only one example of repeated lines. How bout how the doctors were able to magically fix his face all of a sudden, and even david himself thought that was sketchy. Or the when that he kept seeing sophia as julie, a little odd. near the end in jail there were also flash backs of stuff from his real memory like where he rolls on the ground after takin the pills or signing the contract. And what about the tech support in the resteruant when everyone stops talkin, thats a bit of a hint. Now this is all off the top of my head after only seeing the movie once, i am sure there is plenty more out there. And i know none of this is a real give away, but you can't say there weren't hints, and i dont think any hint should be so good that it is possible to figure out the ending first time around. There is alot more i would like to say about this movie, just gimmie something to work with, more comments are appreciated just try to make them intelligent and meaningful, as aposed to the barrage of meaningless insults i am sure you will soon deliver.
