At the end of the movie, David's tech support says that Sofia was his "saviour, even though you only met her once" (the night at her apartment). Now surely David met her again, after his 'accident' - at the dance club when he was wearing that mask. And after she rejected him that night he chose (after his own suicide of course) to start his very own lucid dream at that particular point in his former life.

Other than that i loved the film. And yes, I probably do have too much time on my hands.....but what can you do eh?
