Imagine, she was a teenager at the time of the Russian Revolution, and she was probably related to the Romanoffs somehow. They all were, weren't they?
All the changes she must have seen in her life. She sounds like a mostly benignly silly woman. Wasn't her brother in law a suspected Nazi sympathizer though?
