06/01/03: Rational reasoning why Britain kept fighting:

Posted By: PsychoRabbit

In all her history as a major power, Great Britain has never allowed any one European power to dominate continental Europe. The wars with Napoleontic France is a good example.

The decision of Britain to fight on after the fall of France had nothing to do with philantrophic* motives or reasons. The English simply could not allow Hitler to dominate the European continent, reducing British influence and power.
