04/06/02: DIK or KOK? What's your poison?

Posted By: StarGazer

I mentioned this is the "Sorority Boys" forum (see "Similar joke in Van Wilder and Sorority Boys") but it bares repeating.

In "Sorority Boys", there is a frat house named Kappa Omega Kappa or KOK (cock). In "Van Wilder" the frat house is called Delta Iota Kappa or DIK (dick). Makes you wonder if the screenwriters for these films attended the same writing class in college (assuming they attended college, or for that matter, writing classes).

Also, is Iota a real Greek letter? I've never heard of it before seeing "Van Wilder" and I'm starting to think it was made up simply for the stupid DIK joke.

Finally, I never saw "Sorority Boys" nor do I ever plan to. I've talked enough about this in the "Sorority Boys" forum, so I'm not going to repeat myself again.

Thank you.
That is all.
Go see "Zoolander"
