I think it was retitled "The Wedding Party" for the US and didn't get much distribution there - my impression is that it was mis-advertised as a fluffy romantic comedy - despite wearing the mask of one it has a very unsentimental if not bitter streak.
Anyway, Cate Blanchett does a great job - she and Frances O'Connor play two women in Richard Roxburgh's life, at different times. They play their characters on perfectly contrasted notes even though they're never on screen together at all. If you can find it I'd be interested in your opinion on it.

PS - I agree with you about HEAVEN. Not without its flaws, but what a performance. That silent moment after she realises what her bomb has done, my God. Not too many actresses could EVER pull that scene off.
