I think Blanchett is definitely top notch. Let's look at a couple of others:
Nicole Kidman:
"To Die For"
"Portrait of a Lady"
"Eyes Wide Shut"
"Moulin Rouge"
"The Others"
We'll see about "Dogville," "Cold Mountain" & "The Human Stain." A good set of films, but not up to par with Blanchett.
