I thought about mentioning her in my original post, then realized, just how much have *I* seen her in? Ignoring the throwaway role in the "Bond" movies, basically "Shakespeare in Love" (real small role) "Iris," "Chocolat" (small role), "Shipping News" (forgot she was even in that), "Tea With Mussolini" (forgot I even saw that!) and apparently "Henry V" (barely remember anything about anyone in that movie). Somehow, I've missed "Mrs. Brown." "Iris" was definitely a great performance, and she dominated "SIL" for those 7 minutes, but beyond that...
Stiles: "Business of Strangers" and "10 Things I Hate About You" are the only performances I have no questions about (and maybe "State & Main"). Some, like "Save the Last Dance," I just plain hate.
Jena Malone is in good territory with "Donnie Darko" and "Secret Lives." Let's hope she stays there!
