1. There really is no line between pornography; it's a constantly changing moral line that's different from person to person. Pornography isn't bad, but I consider (in my moral opinion, not yours) some to be. Any pornography involving death, violence, or an older partner teamed with a younger partner is bad, in my opinion. Now, besides from pornography, I am writing a story about a rape and the events ensuing and also the psychological aspects of using sex as a means of revenge; I do not look at it favorably, nor do I pump eroticism (no pun intended) into the story. The rape is seen as a vile act and the disturbing sex is seen in a desperate light, showing one character's desperate need to gain vengeance on his ex-girlfriend by sleeping with the girlfriend he had before her while he knows she is watching.
2. Snuff films do exist, but most have been wiped out of existence. My father used to be a sheriff for the LAPD and they once arrested a wealthy industrial tycoon who was in possession of these tapes and various narcotics. After extensive research, they had concluded the death was real and they traced it back to a girl who had turned up missing.
3. "8mm" does, in fact, have to do with snuff films, not child pornography.
4. Going back to art vs. porno, I consider "Playboy" art, but "Penthouse" porno. Why, may you ask? Because "Playboy" tries to show the beauty of the human body through mysticism and great photography (which is in their philosophy), while "Penthouse" has the pictures for sexual reasons. "Penthouse" isn't bad, but it's completely different from "Playboy"; just thought I'd point that out and open a whol enew can of worms.
5. I don't consider pictures of children frolicking naked child pornography, because it's showing their youthful joy and innocence. It would be completely different, however, if there was a naked adult in there with an erection or their vagina engorged or, even worse, one of those "innocent" children with said man's penis in his/her mouth or him/her licking the adult's labia or clitoris or any other part of the vagina.
