I've heard different things from different sources about Mr. Keenan. I heard from one source(Circus mag.) that they have been working on new material, since their last tour, but they just didn't want to subject their audience to the new material on the tour.
Then I also heard on the radio that they didn't want to create any new material b/c of the lawsuit. Any new material created, while still under Volcano/Zoo entertainment, would become that label's.
BTW: The hearing has been postponed 6 times now. It was supposed to start at the beginning of September. Last I heard, it was set for the 23rd of November.
I'm sure Maynard will be pissed after all of this, and maybe we'll get some material deeper and darker than anything they've ever done before. Let's hope so.
