I've never heard of "snuff" films, are they supposed to be real murder on film, like "Faces of Death"? Also, what does BTW stand for? I've seen it all over Crankyland, and I haven't a clue.
By the way child porn falls under the category of obscene material, which is one step beyond pornography. And if you are caught w/ any kind of obscene material you can be sent to jail for a long time. I took a Law of Mass Communications in Society class last year, I'll check my notes and see what else I can dig up about the subject.
