You either Love it or Hate it. I loved it. Bottom line: success (i.e. the compromises one makes to attain it) is as dehumanizing (maybe more - insidious) than poverty, drugs, racism, parental abdication, etc.
I KNOW guys like the Christian Slater character. I personally have made changes to software programs (changes I knew would weaken my product and compromise the success of my project) because the users were too lazy/stupid to understand my simpler, cleaner, more elegant "vision" of their business.
I'm as mad as hell, and I don't want to take it anymore, but I do... and Very Bad Things provided a blissful, transcendant, too brief, release from the stock options and stupid assholes that dictate the course of my droning life.
