i would never spend 400 bucks for A DVD player when you gotta buy a new one in a couple years for HDTV. however, on this brand spanking new DELL laptop my dad stole from his work, DVD is built in. i recently bought Good Will Humping, Cant Hardly Wait, and Deep Impact. The picture is simply incredible, and there are great features such as scene selections as opposed to fast forwarding-rewinding-fast forwarding-dammit i went too fucking far! VHS style. also, because they have so much room on the disks, there are great behind the scenes and interview segments included on each disk. i think DVD is the thing to do...when the price for a player drops considerably.
