09/28/97: dogs and children

In "A Time to Kill", the dog wasn't killed in the fire but, according to people who have read the book (not me), the dog meets a fiery end in the novel.

I hate almost all movies with children or cute pets.

I'd have to say that the seen where the guy jumps out of the subway and melts (Yes, Mr. Cranky, just like the Wicked Witch of the West) was really funny and almost made the movie worth seeing in combination with the flying lave fireballs crashing into houses in the background. Good fun.
