The anti-apartheid divestment movement was actually able contribute to the end of apartheid in South Africa - which was the whole point - whereas the embargo against Cuba has gone on for *decades* without doing a thing to contribute to the end of communism in Cuba.
In point of fact, increased trade between Cuba and the US is the very thing that will bring and end to communism there.
