We have all neglected the most depressing, and most enjoyable of Billy Joels songs. Captain Jack. A shitty spoiled kid takes and takes from his father/grandfather (not sure) and lives a lifestyle filled with drugs and parties and having fun, and one day comes home and dad/grandad is dead in the pool. i think the line is "guess therell be no more going back to college, anymore... but captain jack will get you high tonight... take you away to your special island."
Also, People are Strange by the doors... that always makes me sad. it really resonates with me.
The smiths... they are sad... and yet they kick so much ass.
Where the Wild Roses Grow by Nick cave and this other chick. thats pretty damn sad to.
