Of another *sad* Rolling Stones tune:
"Wild Horses" - Yes, a tenderly remorseful love ballad written by Mick Jagger for Marianne Faithfull after she O'D'd on heroin (and who knows what else) and lived to tell about it. Gotta love that classic first verse "Tiiired of livinnnnnnnn....it's EASYYY to do..."
Oh, Theo, I must confess - "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgeral" is the musical equivalent of "The English Patient" to me. DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ALREADDYYYYYY! (that includes Gordon Lightfoot.......whose music I just never could get into.....) I think it's on my Top 10 Most Hated Songs list......aka....Music that Makes You Want to Off Yourself.
