They're lucky anyone is making a movie about some manky Scots poet git in the first place! They should be grateful even if it's Joe Piscipo who plays him!
Besides, if any young actor can pull off Scottish, it's Depp (although I guarantee, no matter how good his accent is, these pissy Scots will bitch about the "awful" accent)
