I went to see this film because I have a six year old and the review in Cinefantastique was much better for Warriors of Virtue than Power Rangers Turbo or whatever the heck it is.
I did see, on video, the first Power Rangers movie. Warriors of Virtue is visually far superior. I particularly liked the dancing food in the Chinese restaurant at the beginning.
I think this film could have lost at least one bomb, maybe too, if they hadn't had any audible dialogue. The basic story is one we all know and we would have been spared all those repetitions driving the plot points into our heads like red hot ...
I'm sorry. I got a little overwrought. It wasn't actually quite that bad.
