I hadn't been to the movies in months. A friend of mine wanted to see Waterboy so I went and found myself paying $8.00 (whoa, wasn't it $6.50 last time??). The theater was huge and the movie was a huge disappoint. I scolded myself for going over the next few days and flamed Waterboy's poor script and lamebrain sense of humor. Then someone directed me here :) I went to Waterboy and read Mr. Cranky's opinion. Wow! IQ of 100?? During the movie I turned to my friend and said, "I think this movie was meant for people with an IQ of 70 or lower." Then, toward the end (or I hope it was the end...when Sandler's mom had decided to approve of foosball) I said to him, "Wait, weren't these jokes already used? The movie used itself up in the first 10 minutes!" After that we left, both quite disappointed. Hehehe I think I'm still pretty harsh on that movie, since I am even harsher than Mr. Cranky was but there are some movies on this site that I like which were flamed big time. Damn it, Casino was great!
