Three years ago I was a student at a rather well-known music school. On weekends me and my friends who had similar tastes in music used to party together. We were a small group of 6-8 people who seemed to agree on nearly everything. Ten one day I was at my friends house and where I was suddenly force to endure weekend after weekend of hearing Adam Sandler's "They're All Gonna Laugh At You". For those who don't know the title is a reference to the movie "Carrie" or Carrie's mother (Piper Laurie)reminding young Carrie of her fate at school. The album's most memorable moment was LunchLadyland (which I'll assume to be a pun of Jimi Hendrix's ElectricLadyland). Aside from that ther wasn't much else except for one annoying (if you're sober, that is) segment called "The Longest Pee" complete with sound effects. The fact that after several forced listenings and enough alcohol(you do what you got to do to fit in these days)I actually could appreciate Adam Sandler. with that in mind I ventured out ot see "Bulletproof" where I reasoned that the only thing more annoying than Adam Sandler's voice was his face and the charaters he portrays (retarded lovable doofis). Two years later I was studying computers at a rather well-known school when I overheard students guffawing about how "The Waterboy" was the funniest movie they had ever seen. One year later "The Waterboy" comes to pay-per-view and I made the mistake of ordering it. The only redeeming quality of the whole movie was that there waws finally something more repulsive and disappointing than Adam Sandler (that and the fact that I was hoping to see Fairuza Balk's tits)was the site of Henry Winkler's ass. The 'Fonz' showing his ass in the most pointless piece of crap ever turned out by Hollywood! I wanted to hide under my chair. What about all those kids who used to carry their Fonzie lunchboxes to school? Think how disappointed they must be! This is an outrage. What would Mr and Mrs. Cunnigham think? I felt betrayed. Who cah you trust if you cah't trust the Fonz and why the Hell would anybody want Roy Orbison (no disreslect intended)om their ass anyway?
